Rotarian Keith Murray presenting a cheque. Funds
were raised at the Karaoke evening which took place at the Plasnewydd
bar in Bargoed. It even made news in the local paper (picture on
left, editorial below).
Members of the Bargoed Rotary Club raised money for the
Rotary foundation by taking part in Karaoke evening recently.
Rotarian Keith Murray organised and sponsored the event which was held
at the Plasnewydd in Bargoed. Keith is chairman of the club's
foundation committee. Foundation is Rotary's own charity, which
apart from supporting many good causes throughout the world has been a
main ambition of eradicating polio. Pictured receiving a cheque
for £242 from Keith Murray is John Gardener, President of Bargoed Rotary
Club.
